ZA: ZOMBIES ANONYMOUS

Zombies Anonymous (2006) opens on the dawn of a new plague, where the dead begin walking the earth. Unlike the mindless zombies from other films, these zombies can talk, think, and can't be killed with just a bullet to the head. When Angela (Gina Ramsden) is murdered by her psychopathic ex-boyfriend Josh (Joshua Nelson), she continues to walk the earth as one of societies new outcasts, suffering terrible discrimination, fighting cravings for human flesh, and joining a touchy-feely zombie support group.  That is, until a group of undead terrorists set their sights on making her part of their new army. Meanwhile, Josh has been seduced by a group of zombie-killing militants hell bent on ridding the earth of the undead. As the inevitable clash of these two groups grows near, the bullets and entrails fly.

Zombies Anonymous premiered in 2006 at the New York City Horror Film Festival where it won several awards (under the title "Last Rites of the Dead").

Zombies Anonymous is the film that will have you rooting for the walking dead.
